Privacy policy
This is a draft. It lists honestly
what Perkly actually stores, which is the hard part, but the legal wording still needs
a lawyer. Replace this before you take a paying customer.
What we hold about you, the merchant
- Your name and email address
- A hash of your password — never the password itself
- The stores you connect, and their addresses
What we hold about your shoppers
When you connect a store, Perkly receives:
- The email address and first name on each order
- The names of the items ordered, and the date
- Which platforms each shopper claimed a review on, and the discount earned
We use this for one thing: asking them for a review and giving them the discount
you offered. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to advertise anything.
Who processes what
For your shoppers' data you are the controller and Perkly is the processor. We act
on your instructions. If you close your account, that data is deleted with it.
How long we keep it
State your retention period here.
Who else sees it
List your email provider, your hosting provider, and any payment processor.
Asking us to delete something
Closing your account from the dashboard removes your stores, reviews, discounts and
orders. Add your contact address for individual requests.
